Consistent with our full line, our Decaf Dark Roast begins with shade-grown arabica beans from the highlands of Chiapas, where volcanic soil and cloud-forest conditions develop depth and character. The beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process, a chemical-free method pioneered in Switzerland in 1933, that uses only water, temperature, and time to remove caffeine while preserving the coffee’s flavor. The result is a dark, full-bodied cup with notes of toasted cacao, gentle earthiness, and a smooth finish. Even without caffeine, it maintains the balance and richness that defines our coffee.

– Certified USDA Organic, 100% arabica coffee shade-grown in Chiapas, Mexico by independent Maya cooperatives.
